Colonel KYLE B. GRYGO

Colonel Kyle B. Grygo is the Commander, 51st Mission Support Group, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. As the Group commander, he leads five diverse squadrons that provide base communications, engineering, security, law enforcement, transportation, supply, personnel support, logistics readiness, education, food services, housing, and recreation activities to over 2,700 personnel, supporting the Air Forces’ most permanently forward deployed wing, a Numbered Air Force, and 24 tenant units.

Colonel Grygo graduated from Case Western Reserve University and earned his commission through Officer Training School in November 2000. He has served in a variety of assignments including Deputy Chief, Disruptive Technology Team, (AF/A5/7), Headquarters U.S. Air Force; Senior Executive Officer to the Deputy Chief Information Officer, Secretariat of the Air Force; Commander, 36th Communications Squadron, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam; Chief, HQ C4 Services Division (USINDOPACOM/J6); and Commander, 42d Communications Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL. Col Grygo also served as an Officer Training School Instructor and deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Prior to his current assignment, Col Grygo was a student at the U.S. Naval War College, Newport, RI.

Colonel Grygo is married to Donna Grygo and is the proud father of Solimar (12) and Marina (6).
