Osan exercises Emergency Management
During an Emergency Management Exercise, Osan responders practiced a newly drafted humanitarian evacuation plan ‘Operation Tomdachi’ here May 23. The scenario was fairly familiar…Japan experienced a devastating earthquake making it necessary for the Japanese people and Americans stationed in Japan to evacuate the region. A plane full of Japanese and Americans stationed in Japan were simulated by kids from Osan Middle School. The kids were armed with bags of simulated vomit and symptom cards placed around their neck, to exercise the processing line. (U.S. Air Force Photo by/Staff Sgt. Daylena Gonzalez)
