FAMILY HOUSING
The Base Housing Office is located in Bldg. 600, across from the bus station. The telephone number is DSN 784-1840/5356, Fax 784-2800. The office is open from 8 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday. The housing office closes at noon for training every first and third Thursday.
The housing assignment policy at Osan is like no other in the Air Force. Since Sept. 1, 2005, Osan has been in non-concurrent travel status, meaning the sponsor's family can not travel concurrently with the military member until housing is secured.
The military member is responsible for submitting Concurrent Travel Exception to Policy request prior to PCSing. Your MPF office will notify you if on-base housing will be available upon your arrival to Osan.
No furniture support other than appliances will be provided and all towers are partial carpeted. Closet and interior storage space are limited, Seoraksan and Hallsan Tower has a storage cage assigned to each unit.
Air conditioning and heating is provided both central systems. You may need a humidifier in winter and a dehumidifier during the summer months. A total of two pets per family are authorized. Other features include washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator and cable TV hookups in each unit.
Seoraksan Tower is the first of three new family housing towers, opened April 28, 2006. This facility is located by the commissary and the elementary and high schools. Seoraksan Tower offers two-bedroom (1,299 square feet); three-bedroom (1,755 to 1,908 square feet) and four-bedroom (1,908 square feet) living quarters.
Hallsan Tower is the second of three new family housing towers, opened March 24, 2008. This facility is located across hospital parking zone. Hallsan Tower offers three-bedroom (1,741 to 2,066 square feet) and four-bedroom (2,302 and 2,307 square feet) living quarters.
Jirisan Tower is the third of three new family housing towers, opened May 2008. This facility is located behind Hallsan Tower. Jirisan Tower offers three-bedroom (1,813 to 1,992 square feet) and four-bedroom (2,081 to 2,217 square feet) living quarters.

Furnishings Management Support
Limited furnishings support is provided for command-sponsored personnel and DoD civilians. Off-Base personnel is entitled to full appliance (refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer) support is provided until member PCS from Osan. Do not ship your appliances or you will have to store them at your own expense. Call the Housing Office at 784-5356 to process all furniture requirements upon arrival.
Loaner set furniture is available upon assignment and termination
The temporary loaner set furniture is available not to exceed 90 days upon assignment, or 90 days prior to termination after shipment of HHG. Exceptions must be submitted in writing.
