  • Diversity begins with self-awareness

    Troops from Osan Air Base were introduced to a new perspective on diversity that transcended race, religion, sexual orientation or generation: Diversity as a choice. The 51st Fighter Wing Equal Opportunity office and RCultures Inc. teamed up to host a cultural competency seminar July 10 and 11, 2018, to bring a different diversity message to troops and leadership.
  • Holocaust Remembrance: Forgiveness overcomes hate

    The National Socialist German Worker’s Party, led by Adolf Hitler, systematically exterminated between six and nine million European Jews in concentration camps throughout their regime beginning in 1933. By 1945, more than 11 million people in total are estimated to have been murdered by the Nazis. More than 70 years later, Osan Air Base remembers the lives of the Jewish people who perished under the brutal dictatorship.
  • Osan Airman Named 'Outstanding'

    Senior Airman Jasmin Figueroa was selected as one the 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year for 2016 during her time as a 51st Medical Operations Squadron emergency services technician at Osan AB, Republic of Korea. This award recognizes 12 outstanding enlisted service members for superior leadership, job performance, community involvement and personal achievements.
