  • Brown thanks Airmen, outlines priorities during Osan visit

    Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) commander, held his first all call here Aug. 29 since taking command, outlining his priorities going forward. The all call was part of a four-day immersion in the ROK, Aug. 26-29, where Brown also visited the U.S. Embassy, ROK Air Force Headquarters, and Korean Demilitarized Zone to include the Joint Security Area and Camp Red Cloud.

    OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Osan Air Base hosted approximately 80,000 visitors during Air Power Day 2016, Sept. 24 and 25, highlighting the alliance between the U.S. and the Republic of Korea while using the opportunity to get to know one another better as good friends and good neighbors. There were 22 Pacific Air Forces and ROK air force aircraft on display while multiple aerial acts took to the sky. The main act was the Republic of Korea air force premiere demonstration team, the Black Eagles, who illustrated their combat flying capabilities in eight T-50B training aircraft.
  • BM 16-01: 51st SFS Defenders assist ROKAF during attacks

    With exercise Beverly Midnight 16-01 in full speed, the U.S. Air Force 51st Security Forces Squadron defenders continue striving for excellence in base protection. Part of their training here includes assisting the Republic of Korea Air Force personnel in guarding the perimeter, to include ROKAF gates, against foreign aggressors.
  • Buddy Wing showcases ROK/US Alliance, soars through ROK skies

    Personnel from both U.S. and ROK Air Forces gathered to participate in Buddy Wing 16-1, held here Jan. 25 to 29, 2016. U.S. Airmen from the 36th Fighter Squadron and Aircraft Maintenance Unit travelled to Seosan AB, ROK, to participate in the Buddy Wing exercise with ROK air forces personnel from the 121st Fighter Squadron, 20th Fighter Wing, Seosan AB, ROKAF.
