51st CES responds to mock IED during Beverly Herd 16-01
An F6A explosive ordnance disposal robot, operated by Airmen from the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron EOD flight, uses a Joint Chemical Agent Detector to scan a mock chemical improvised explosive device for biohazard agents during Exercise Beverly Herd 16-01 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, May 12, 2016. The JCAD is used to detect and identify chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemical vapors, and can be used on mobile platforms like the F6A EOD robot.
