This week’s Airman of the Week is Staff Sergeant Kyle Russell, 51st Munitions Squadron precision-guided munition (PGM) crew chief. As a PGM crew chief, Russell oversees the inspection, testing and overall maintenance for six weapons systems. Russell also schedules all inspections and repair work for 2,500 assets collectively worth 1 billion dollars. Additionally, during his first three weeks on the job, Russell brought 12 live munitions back online for Osan’s “Fight Tonight” mission. As a supervisor, he also established an even work flow coupled with a consistent training environment for airmen newly assigned to the unit. Outstanding work SSgt. Russell! Thank you for your continued dedication to excellence towards the mission and your airmen alike.
