Team Osan continues to participate in the Air Force Assistance Fund, the campaign for which began March 6 and will continue until May 19.

The AFAF is an annual fundraiser for personnel to donate to Air Force-affiliated charities. These charities include the Air Force Aid Society, Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation, Lemay Foundation and the Air Force Enlisted Village. Each affiliate provides support to active duty, retirees, reservists, guard members, dependents and widowed spouses.

"Every contribution makes a difference and directly supports members of our Air Force family,” said Col. Andrew Hansen, 51st Fighter Wing commander. “Everyone has a key role in the mission. In order to be able to ‘Fight Tonight,’ we must first ensure our Airmen's needs are being met.”

Personnel who donate have the option to donate as much for as long as they would like. Because it is an Air Force-affiliated fundraiser, Airmen have the option of using payroll deduction as a form of donating.
