Job title: Aerospace medical technician

Job description and its impact on the overall mission: I work in the multiservice inpatient flight. We assist with same day surgery and pre/post-operative patients. Also, on the inpatient side, we house patients 24 hours a day until they are well enough to be released home.

Time in the military: One year, five months

Time at Osan: Eight months

Hobbies: I enjoy singing, dancing and cooking.

Why did you join the military? I joined for better educational opportunities, and to travel the world.

Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? I see myself having my doctorates degree in psychology and practicing psychiatry.

What do you do for fun here? For fun, I volunteer at the middle school, do movie nights with friends, and information ticket and travel trips on available weekends.

What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? The best memory I have of the Air Force, was when I attended the Air Force Ball 2012. It was a beautiful event, and I got to meet a lot of important people like Col. McKenzie and Gen. Thurman. The atmosphere was great and you could feel the camaraderie among Airmen.

What accomplishment are you most proud of? The accomplishment I am most proud of would be putting on red rope in technical training school. It was a complete surprise and shock for me. And I was really amazed at the support from my fellow Airmen.

Who are your role models? My role models would definitely have to be my parents. My dad has been active duty for 28 years and he really pushes education. My mother is my support system and finds a way to turn any situation into a positive one.
