The Sakyamuni Buddha and the Yaksayeoraebul, the medicine Buddha, are two of the three focal alters in the Daeungjeon, the main Buddha hall of the Hwangaksan Jikjisa Temple, a highlight during the Information, Tickets and Travel trip April 27, 2013. The three Buddhist paintings, or Tenghwa, are referred to as Samjonbultaenghwa. Tenghwa is buddhistic paintings on either fabric or paper in order to be framed. On each painting, there are Bodhisattvas, celestial kings and guardian gods, surrounding the Buddha for harmony. The paintings were canvased on silk, and were created in 1744.
