Job title: knowledge operations specialist

Job description and its impact on the overall mission: I manage, process, coordinate, control and share the 36th FS's data assets.

Time in the military: Four years, eight months

Time at Osan: Five months

Family: Spouse, Chelsey A. Smith

Hometown: Blossburg, Pa.

Hobbies: Hunting, Fishing, and working out at the gym.

Why did you join the military? I joined to carry on the family tradition and to serve my country

Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? I see myself as a commissioned officer, maybe even as a pilot.

What do you do for fun here? I enjoy traveling around Korea, working out, and playing sports with my friends.

What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? I deployed Southwest Asia in 2010, 2011, and in 2012. My squadron commander requested me by name. I felt a sense of pride because he showed faith in me as an airman 1st class and was confident I could get the job done.

What accomplishment are you most proud of? I'm proud of earning 36th FS Airman of the 1st Quarter.

Who are your role models? My father is my role model because he instilled in me at a young age that any job worth doing is worth doing right.
