51st MXS sparks mission success

51st Fighter Wing

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Metals technicians from the 51st Maintenance Squadrons Fabrication Flight sharpened their skills here April 9.

Metals technicians are constantly learning and sharpening their skills while contributing to the 51st Fighter Wing's mission by helping to maintain multi-million-dollar Air Force assets such as the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

Thes Airmen are required to be proficient in metal repair and fabrication processes, composition of metals and much more to ensure they can safely and efficiently continue their part in maintaining the 51st Fighter Wing's aircraft and facilities.
