Sabre Run 2009: A cost free KAOC Friendship half marathon is scheduled for Oct. 17 at 9 a.m. The run begins at the base gym and includes a 5K and 10K option. For more information, visit: http://www.sabrerun2009.com.

Study Skills/Test Taking Seminar:  A test taking seminar is scheduled for Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bldg. 788 Room 26. This is a A chance to discover and explore effective studying methods to help in allocating your time, as well as improving your memory, test taking, reading, and note-taking skills, along with a small dose of stress reduction. Post 9/11 GI Bill Briefing: Get basic information on this entitlement and learn how to transfer it to a family member. The briefing will be held on Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Base Theater. 

Seoul Air Show: Seoul Air Show 2009 is open to the public October 24-25 at Seoul, K-16 Airport in Seongnam. The show will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, Republic of Korea Air Force Black Eagles, U-2 and B-52 flyovers and static displays. The event is free to DoD military in uniform. For others, tickets are on sale for $8 and are being sold online at www.interpark.com or Hana branches throughout Korea. To find out more about the air show, visit www.seoulairshow.com. 

Dwele Concert: Neo-Seoul singer Dwele will perform at the Osan Challenger Club at 9 p.m. Oct. 24. Dwele is a Detroit-bred artist and three time Grammy nominee.

Fred Shafer concert: Entertainer Fred Shafer will perform at the Osan Mustang Club at 8 p.m. Oct. 25. Fred Shafer is an old soul whose nomadic childhood provides a template for lyrically driven melodies and emotionally accessible songs.

Term II Undergraduate Registration: Register now for on-base classes with the University of Maryland University College (784-6786) or Central Texas College (784-5681). Apply for tuition assistance via the AF Portal at the Virtual Education Center. Class dates are Oct. 26-Dec. 20.

Combat Arms Range access: The Combat Arms Range Facility, buildings 303 and 304 are off limits to all personnel unless attending for official business. Trespass violations will be strictly enforced due to inherent danger associated with small arms fire. Contact Combat Arms Range Control at 784-6800 to request entry into the complex and report any trespass violations to the Law Enforcement Desk at 754-5515.
