Team Osan was treated to a special guest for Thanksgiving lunch at the Ginkgo Tree dining facility.

Gen. Paul V. Hester, Pacific Air Forces commander, served Thanksgiving lunch to Airmen here and spent some time this holiday season with them.

"Since all of us who serve overseas are away from our blood family on this uniquely American holiday, I wanted to be with the Air Force family and the Pacific Airmen who are on the front lines of freedom", General Hester said. "That means those here in Osan and in Kunsan ... I am honored to serve them dinner and jointly count our many blessings."

Several distinguished visitors accompanied General Hester as servers. Maj. Gen. Ed Rice Jr., Pacific Air Forces vice commander and command Chief Master Sgt. of the Pacific Air Forces, Anthony Bishop joined the general on this festive trip. They also visited Kunsan Air Base to serve the feast to the Wolfpack.

Lt. Gen. Stephen Wood, 7th Air Force commander, and Brig. Gen. Joe Reynes, 51st Fighter Wing commander, donned their chefs hats to dish out turkey, all the trimmings and pumpkin pie to Team Osan.
