Osan loses team member

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --  Amember of the 51st Logistics Readiness Squadron passed away Dec. 4 at the 121 Hospital at Yongson Army Garrison.

Airman 1st Class Derek Webb, 51st LRS vehicle mechanic, was originally admitted to the 51st Fighter Wing emergency room Nov. 19 and was later transferred to Ajou Hospital in Suwon and then to the hospital in Yongsan.

"Airman 1st Class Webb was an exceptionally hard worker who's passion for the mission, the Air Force and his family and friends will be sorely missed," said Lt. Col. James Wilkie, 51st LRS commander.

Before Airman 1st Class Webb passed away, his parents were able to see him.
