U.S. Airmen respond to a simulated active shooter shooter scenario during exercise Mustang Rodeo 26-2 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, May 12, 2026. The exercise involved the 51st Security Forces Squadron, 51st Civil Engineer Squadron and 51st Medical Group responding to a simulated active shooter threat to evaluate emergency response coordination and installation readiness. Mustang Rodeo 26-2 bridges the gap between large-scale exercises by providing Airmen regular opportunities to rehearse critical tasks under simulated operational stress.
