Osan Airmen respond to simulated aircraft crash

U.S. Airmen assigned to the 51st Fighter Wing participate in a major accident response exercise during exercise Mustang Rodeo 26-2 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, May 14, 2026. During the MARE, multiple agencies, including medical personnel, firefighters, safety officials and security forces members, rehearsed coordinated emergency response procedures during a simulated aircraft mishap. Mustang Rodeo 26-2 strengthened Team Osan’s ability to execute integrated contingency operations in support of the wing’s “Fight Tonight” mission.
