OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Counted upon to respond during crisis at a moment's notice, firefighters have a vital emergency response mission. At Osan Air Base, the 51st Civil Engineer Squadorn firefighters conduct joint training with their counterparts in South Korea. At the end of April, they had a joint fire training day, wherein they teamed up to test their abilities with live fire and extraction exercises. Emergency responders have an important mission that crosses regular boundaries, and both sides plan to conduct more joint training in the future to better enhance their capabilities.
