Job title: Dental technician

Job description and its impact on the overall mission:
I am responsible for performing prophylaxis (cleanings), annual exams, and emergency dental treatments with a dentist to ensure Air Force members' readiness.

Time in the military: Four years

Time at Osan: Four months

Family: My mother Nicole Cranshaw, my father David Tweggs, my brother David Tweggs Jr., and my husband Bryan Kennerly

Hometown: Anchorage, Ala.

Hobbies: Traveling, spending time with family and friends.

Why did you join the military? I joined the military to travel, attain educational benefits, and to gain a strong foundation of job experience and discipline.

Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? In 10 years I see myself in the Air Force as a registered Dental Hygienist, and in 20 years I will be retired and teaching at a dental assisting school.

What do you do for fun here? Here I like to travel and take every opportunity to experience this amazing opportunity to be living overseas.

What's your favorite Air Force memory or story? My favorite memory was marching my squadron in technical school to and from the school house singing jodies.

What accomplishment are you most proud of? I am most proud of receiving my Achievement Medal for Honor Guard.

Who are your role models? My first mentor in the Air Force was Staff Sgt. Jasmine Phillips, she really was the one person who taught me work ethic and took me a long way from my first year in the military. Another role model I have is my husband Bryan Kennerly; he inspires me to accomplish anything I put my mind to. They are both great mentors.
