Joint CBRN training ensures EM responders ready
Emergency management technicians from the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron pull a simulated casualty during a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) recon fitness competition at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, March 20, 2014. For two weeks, the EM Airmen trained with Marines from the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing out of Camp Foster, Japan, because of the organizations’ similar CBRN missions, which are used to provide combatant commanders the ability to respond and recover from any event involving hazardous materials.
