Bugging in BM24-1; Airmen train relocating facilities
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Austin Witt, left, and Ronnie Porter, 51st Operations Support Squadron air traffic controllers, set up operations in an alternate facility during Beverly Midnight 24-1 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Jan. 29, 2024. During this scenario, the radar approach control section of the 51st OSS experienced a cyberattack and all electronics were unusable; all members practiced relocating and reestablishing operations in an alternate facility. BM24-1 is a routine training event that tests the military capabilities across the peninsula, allowing combined and joint training at both the operational and tactical levels.
