Summer Safety Challenge
Members of the 51st Logistics Readiness Squadron pose with the 2012 Summer Safety Challenge traveling trophy Oct. 19, 2012. In an effort to increase awareness about staying safe during the Air Force’s Critical Days of Summer campaign, the 51st Fighter Wing Safety office challenged the base to a competition to get involved and find ways to reduce mishaps. The 51st LRS conducted more than 6,000 seatbelt checks, 300 bicycle checks and an 80-person FOD walk that garnered them the winning spot. (From left to right) Tech. Sgt. Chul Lee, Airman 1st Class Nigel Lee, Senior Airman Kevin Lee, Staff Sgt. Juan Torres Dela Cruz, and Hyon-Mi Chon. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Craig Cisek)
