AC-130
Aerial gunners Senior Airman Manuel and Airman 1st Class John load a 105mm round into an M102 cannon aboard an AC-130U Spooky gunship during exercise Teak Knife 12-3 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 12, 2012. The exercise is designed to enhance the combat readiness of U.S. and Republic of Korea Special Operations and supporting forces through combined and joint live-fire training. The AC-130U incorporates side-firing weapons integrated with sophisticated sensor, navigation and fire control systems to provide surgical firepower or area saturation, at night and in adverse weather. Sensors allow the gunship to visually or electronically identify friendly ground forces and targets any place, any time. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Craig Cisek)
