Construction of a safer Pyeongtaek
Col. Patrick McKenzie, 51st Fighter Wing commander, Mr. Sang Yung Pak, Chief of Pyeongtaek Police, lead a contingent of several city council members July 10, 2012, on a joint town patrol in the Songtan Entertainment District, just outside the gates of Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. The patrol is part of an effort to strengthen the alliance between the ROK and United States, and it highlights the importance of joint partnership in law enforcement and force protection. The commanders also discussed joint town patrols, Korean Nation Police assistance with parking restrictions, and off-limits establishments to U.S. Forces Korea personnel.
