Prime BEEF training keeps CE mission ready
Opposition force (OPFOR) member Airman 1st Class Destry Swadowski, an emergency management technician assigned to the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, fires blanks from his M-4 rifle toward a convoy of Humvees June 22 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Approximately 150 Airmen from the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron participated in PRIME BEEF training. Prime BEEF forces have the necessary command, control and communications to support beddown; fire emergency services; emergency management; explosive ordnance disposal; expedient construction; explosive incident response; chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear response and other specialized mission areas.
