Commando Sling 10

PAYA LEBAR AIR BASE, Singapore – Tech. Sgt. Craig Souza, 51st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, launches an F-16 Fighting Falcon embarking on an air-to-air combat training sortie in support of exercise Commando Sling 10. The second iteration of the exercise, which began Feb. 22, involves forces from the U.S. Air Force and the Republic of Singapore Air Force. F-16s from Osan’s 36th Fighter Squadron are participating in the exercise, conducting dissimilar air combat training with the RSAF, where different types of aircraft fly air-to air missions against each other.
