Taking It to the Streets

Two security forces Airmen conduct a walkthrough of a bar during their nightly patrol of Songtan Entertainment District outside Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Town Patrol is a volunteer position for the Security Forces Airmen here. Teams work together in different areas every night. Their job consists of force protection, blocking traffic within the walking areas and patrols of the many bars, restaurants and off limit areas. While traveling through the streets to each of the facilities, they stay aware of everyone and everything with the primary goal of ensuring safety.
