Osan Boy Scouts relive history
OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – The Osan chapter of the Boy Scouts took a 10 mile hike on the weekend of 11 August, retracing some of the Task Force Smith trail. That is the route from Busan to Osan that the first U.S. forces took at the start of the Korean War. The first U.S. battle was fought just north of Osan city and that is where the boy scouts visited.
