7th AF commander visits 35th ADA

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Lt. Gen. Stephen G. Wood, 7th Air Force commanding general/deputy commander U.S. Forces Korea, greets 1st Sgt. Derrick B. Merritt outside of the Delta Battery, 1st Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery, operations center as part of the general’s tour of 35th ADA Brigade’s facilities. Together with Army Col. John G. Rossi, 35th ADA BDE commander, Army Command Sgt. Major Sidney D. Weatherspoon, 35th ADA BDE CSM, and Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Raymond F. Allen III, 7th Air Force command chief master sergeant, Lt. Gen. Wood spent a few hours seeing the various work areas from the motor pool, the brigade operations center and headquarters and the joint service maintainance facility that is located here.
