General supervision

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- During a unit visit Friday, Pfc. David Lampson, left, an automated logistical specialist in Fox Maintenance Company, 1-43 Air and Missile Defense Battalion, 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, received a visit from Lt. Gen. David Valcourt, 8th U.S. Army commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. Barry Wheeler, 8th U.S. Army CSM. Private First Class Lampson had the seldom sought after honor of having his paperwork and Military Occupational Specialty knowledge put to the test by his commanding general, while Lt. Col. John Chavez, 1-43 AMD Battalion commander, looks on. For his bravery, Private First Class Lampson received the CG’s coin. (U.S. Army photo)
