3,000 hours in the air
OSAN AIR BASE, Reubplic of Korea -- Lt. Col. Jack “Padre” Stokes, 25th Fighter Squadron commander, shakes hands with well-wishers Monday after he marked his 3,000th hour flying the A-10. Lt. Col. Stokes originally flew his first hours in an A-10 while stationed at Osan. During the flight, he was partnered with Capt. Gabe “D-Day” Normandia, chief of aircrew training, 51st Operations Support Squadron, who was marking his 1,000th hour in the F-16. The mission profile called for Lt. Col.
