Osan host Pacific Thunder 09-01
A pararescuemen runs to assist an injured Airmen after a C-130 crash in a simulated mass casualty during the exercise Pacific Thunder 09-01 hosted at Osan AB Republic of Korea, May 13. The crash left two Airmen non-ambulatory and four severely injured. The overall goal of the exercise is to practice integrating all airframes necessary to rescue a downed Airman in a medium to high threat environment.
