A-10s participate in Cope Tiger
KORAT ROYAL THAI AIR BASE, Thailand -- A maintainer from the 51st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron marshalls an A-10 after landing here from Osan Air Base, South Korea. Six A-10s from the 25th Fighter Squadron arrived here from Osan to participate in Exercise Cope Tiger 2008, a multilateral joint and combined field training and humanitarian and civic assistance exercise involving Thailand, Singapore and the United States. The Thai-, Singaporean- and U.S.-hosted exercise enhances combined readiness and interoperability, reinforces U.S. commitment to the Southeast Asian region, and demonstrates U.S. capability to project combined and joint forces strategically in a multilateral environment.
