A 36th Fighter Squadron F-16C “Fighting Falcon”, prepares to launch on Osan Air Base, South Korea, July 22, 2015. In the past year, the squadron has flown more than 4,500 sorties, giving the 36th the largest F-16 flying program in the Combat Air Force. The 36th FS has a 90-year history in the Air Force, where they flew 21 different types of aircraft, received 22 unit citations and accumulated 24 service and campaign streamers since World War I.
