Misawa Airmen deploy to ROK for Vigilant Ace 16
Augmentee Airmen from the 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa Air Base, Japan, arrive to participate in the Vigilant Ace 16 exercise on Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Nov. 2, 2015. The Airmen were among more than 1,000 personnel to deploy to the peninsula to assist in the largest exercise in the ROK held annually to practice training scenarios and mission readiness. The week-long exercise greatly benefits the combined military readiness of the ROK and U.S. by allowing military personnel the opportunity to work side-by-side to integrate air operations more effectively.
