A 25th Fighter Squadron A-10 Thunderbolt II receives fuel during snowfall at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Jan. 6, 2021. Affectionately known as the Warthog or Hog, the A-10 received its official name from the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, a World War II fighter that was effective at attacking ground targets. The A-10 was designed for close air support (CAS) of friendly ground troops. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Noah Sudolcan.)
