Team Osan honors National POW/MIA Recognition Day

Col. Henry Jeffress, 51st Fighter Wing vice commander, addresses the audience about the significance of National Prisoner of War and Missing in Action Recognition Day during a ceremony Sept. 24, 2021, at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. The ceremony was hosted to honor those who were held captive and returned, as well as those who remain missing. Observances of this day are held at various locations around the world, such as military installations, ships at sea, state capitals, veterans’ facilities and schools.
