USFK conducts joint trauma response training

Senior Airman Kassidy Peters, far right, 51st Healthcare Operations Squadron emergency room technician, receives instructions and patient updates prior to departing from the ambulance at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 25, 2022. Peters acted as a simulated trauma patient for the medical teams to practice trauma assessments, patient evaluations, stabilization, intervention and lifesaving procedures alongside the Republic of Korea trauma team. After running through processes at the 51st Medical Group, Peters was transported via a medical evacuation to the ROK hospital trauma center, where they performed further evaluations and tests for training purposes.
