USFK conducts joint trauma response training
Senior Airman Kassidy Peters, 51st Healthcare Operations Squadron emergency room technician, simulates being a patient at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 25, 2022. Peters acted as a simulated trauma patient for the medical teams to practice trauma assessments, patient evaluations, stabilization, intervention and lifesaving procedures alongside the Republic of Korea trauma team. She was later transported to a Republic of Korea trauma center via a medical evacuation to further assess her injuries. The purpose of the training event was to strengthen the relationship amongst United States Forces Korea medical staff members. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Allison Payne)
