Osan honors 9/11 responders with stair climb

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Domonic Tripodo, 51st Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, reads the Firefighter’s Prayer during a 9/11 memorial at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 11, 2023. In 1958, A.W. "Smokey" Linn wrote the Firefighter’s Prayer to remember individuals who lost their lives during one of the fires he responded to. Today, the poem serves as a reminder of the responsibilities shouldered by those in the firefighting profession in the Air Force and worldwide.
