Osan trains detainee procedure during Vigilant Defense 24

U.S. Air Force Airmen are briefed by a 51st Fighter Wing inspection team member before a simulated detainment as part of Vigilant Defense 24 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Nov. 1, 2023. Detainment procedures are practiced to prepare Osan Airmen to respond to real world threats, and affirms the commitment to the ROK by ensuring regional stability throughout the Indo-Pacific. VD24 is a routine training event that tests the military capabilities across the peninsula, allowing combined and joint training at both the operational and tactical levels.
