25th FGS performs night operations during UFS24
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 25th Fighter Generation Squadron perform maintenance checks on an A-10 Thunderbolt II during Ulchi Freedom Shield 24, at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Aug. 22, 2024. The 25th Fighter Squadron "Assam Draggins" have flown and operated the A-10 since 1982, providing specialized close air support in support of the 51st Fighter Wing's mission to provide combat ready forces in defense of the Korean Peninsula. Training events like UFS24 demonstrate the U.S. ironclad commitment to the ROK and reinforce regional stability within the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.
