51st CES hone response techniques during UFS24
A U.S. Air Force Airman assigned to the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron responds to a simulated aircraft fire during Ulchi Freedom Shield 24 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Aug. 22, 2024. This combined exercise highlights the U.S. and Member States ironclad commitment to the alliance in building a robust defense posture to defend the people of the ROK against a spectrum of security threats. UFS24 incorporated large-scale, live fire events for the first time in recent history in order to strengthen interoperability and increase combat readiness of U.S. and allied forces on the Korean peninsula.
