51st FW conducts ACE operations out of Kunsan AB
A U.S. Air Force pilot assigned to the 36th Fighter Squadron gestures to a crew chief after landing at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Jan. 27, 2025. Twelve F-16s from the 36th FS arrived at Kunsan AB to support ACE operations for exercise Beverly Herd 25-2. Beverly Herd 25-2 is intended to affirm the 51st Fighter Wing’s ability to survive and operate in a contested environment in the Korean theater of operations while simultaneously supporting core mission essential tasks in another location.
