More Airpower: ICT Certification Elevates 51st Fighter Wing’s Mission
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Malik Van Diver, 36th Fighter Generation Squadron weapons load crew chief, begins to remove an AIM-9X Sidewinder from an F-16 Fighting Falcon at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 14, 2025. Van Diver performed an Integrated Combat Turnaround certification which required members of the 36th FGS to remove munitions from an F-16 and replace those munitions while the aircraft’s engine was running, and refueling was taking place. This certification allows them to rearm and return F-16s back into the fight significantly faster. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jason W. Cochran)
