51st MXG practices rapid aircraft and personnel decontamination
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 51st Maintenance Group learn how to rapidly decontaminate an F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 36th Fighter Squadron at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 28, 2025. The 51st MXG trained personnel from the specialist flight, quality assurance flight and the airframe, powerplant, and general flight on rapid aircraft and personnel decontamination procedures. The regularly occurring training increases the 51st Fighter Wing’s combat readiness and response capabilities in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear exposure.
