Early Jet Era (Lockheed F-80C Shooting Stars)
Lockheed F-80C Shooting Stars lined up on a pierced steel planking (PSP) ramp in Korea circa 1950. The F-80 was the 51st Fighter-Interceptor Wing's primary combat aircraft during the first eighteen months of the Korean War, performing critical close air support and interdiction missions.
