Legendary F-86 Sabre on the Ramp

A 51st Fighter-Interceptor Wing F-86F Sabre (Tail No. 12881, "Lucky Lib") sits on the pierced steel planking runway at Suwon Air Base (K-13), South Korea, during the Korean War. The aircraft features the iconic yellow identification stripes and the black-and-white "checkertail" tail flash adopted by the Wing in July 1952.
