The MiG-killers of Suwon Air Base

Crew chiefs and ground personnel service a long lineup of 51st Fighter-Interceptor Wing F-86 Sabres in sandbagged revetments at Suwon Air Base, South Korea, circa June 1953. Operating under austere conditions, 51st FIW pilots flew over 45,000 sorties and shot down 308 MiG-15s during the conflict.
