Two F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 36th Fighter Squadron fly alongside two A-10 Thunderbolt IIs from the 25th Fighter Squadron during a four-ship "checkertail" flyover of Osan Air Base, South Korea, circa 2009. This mixed-fleet pairing served as the cornerstone of the peninsula's air defense for decades.
